Bukhoor/Bakhoor
Bukhoor, also known as Bakhoor, is a fragrant blend of wood chips and perfume oils that, when burned in a traditional incense burner, fills the surrounding environment with a delightful and exotic aroma. This practice is an integral part of Arabic culture and tradition.
To burn Bukhoor, it is recommended to use charcoal, which can be ignited using a special lighter or a candle flame. Once the charcoal begins to glow, it can be placed in a Bakhoor holder or a fireproof dish. The Bukhoor can then be placed on top of the charcoal, and the smoking process can commence. It is important to ventilate the area after using Bukhoor.
